Description
The RED Blackberry Rubus saxatilis is part of the genus Rubus spread throughout Europe and Asia, from Iceland and Spain to China. It has also been found in Greenland.
Red Blackberry is a perennial plant with biennial stems that die after the fruit in their second year. The stems are rough with many small spines. Each leaf consists of three oval leaflets with toothed margins.
The ‘RED BLACKBERRY’ fruit is very similar to the classic blackberry we all know, besides having an intense red color it has a sweet sour taste, juicy, rich in vitamins.
Fruits are very rich in VITAMIN C.
It prefers sunny areas or partial shade.
